About Us

The beginning

Friends 4 Recovery Whole Health Center was established in 2009 by Carla Beck and Nancy Castellon. Our Mission is to provide an accepting and welcoming environment in which individuals can learn techniques to manage their challenges and re-join the workforce.

We have grown into a safe place where, no matter what your challenges are, we help foster the idea that the only person who can change your life is YOU.

We are open on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from noon to 6PM and have extended Saturday evening hours in the Spring through Fall.

We hold groups and classes to inform and empower you in dealing with the unique struggles of your life and provide one to one peer support with our Peer Recovery Support Specialists on staff who help you achieve your person-centered goals and help you in your journey of hope and recovery.

We are a 100 percent Peer-Run center.  Everyone who is at the center has lived experience with  challenges of their own (Mental health and/or substance use disorders). One of our core values is mutuality and we practice that throughout the Center.

We also provide one on one Peer supports to those in the Hispanic community with a dedicated Peer Support Specialist, Mina Padilla. She facilitates a group for Hispanic parents of Autistic Children as well.

Come and join our close-knit family!
